Day Three was the day of the first English class at the English Language Centre (ELC) Brighton. This day started slightly earlier than usual so that the students could attend a short orientation. Here they were given an introduction to the members of staff and their roles, learned about the social programme at the school and joined the teachers who were going to look after them for the next two weeks. The students could also check which class they belonged to by looking at the noticeboard in the lounge area. The board also had a timetable listing all the activities students could take part after school (see picture below), the results of a survey which asked students to rank their favorite activities (trips to London and Oxford came top, cycling bottom) and information about using the Wi-Fi network.
